Position Summary:

The Maintenance is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, preventative and productive maintenance systems and processes.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and non-routine maintenance of all plant equipment, machinery and facility.
  • Have experience or training to provide technical knowledge and expertise to solve problems of a mechanical, electrical or hydraulic/pneumatic nature.
  • Knowledge of 3 phase 480V & 240V; Single phase 240V, 277V & 120V; Low voltage DC 24V & 12V. Capable of converting 3 phase 480V to Single phase 240V would be a plus.
  • Performs preventative maintenance according to Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule.
  • Ensures that all equipment, facilities and utilities are in an acceptable state.
  • Maintenance of Non-Hazardous & Hazardous waste.
  • Knowledge of MiOSHA regulations.
  • Reads and understands electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Installs and adjusts a wide variety of components including but not limited to: circuit boards, photo electric switches, fiber-optics, prox switches, PLC's, mechanical switches, clutches, shafts and bearings.
  • Capable of Arc, Wire and Tig welding.
  • Plumbing experience; 2" to " pipe for airlines, pipe threading.
  • Fabricating guarding: Metal and Lexon, as well as brake experience.
  • Maintains air compressors and heating/cooling equipment.
  • Responsible for working in accordance with our documented Quality System, and for ensuring that products and services meet the customer's specified requirements.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process, and follows all safety policies and procedures.
  • May be required by Management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks.
  • May be required to work different shifts, hours, overtime and weekends if needed.

 Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Must have a minimum of 5 years related work experience to include specialized training and experience to troubleshoot equipment and provide technical knowledge and expertise to solve problems of a mechanical, electrical or hydraulic/pneumatic nature. Must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics. Must have demonstrated work experience with electronic/electrical and machine programming software, i.e. IDC, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, circuit boards, and be able to utilize tool room equipment. Journeyman card a plus.
